Types and methods of teeth whitening
As a result of trauma or endodontic treatment may occur staining of dental hard tissues.
As a result of injury or vital extirpation of blood from the pulp can penetrate into dentinal tubules and decay. Hemoglobin released from red blood cells, which is deposited in the dentin in the form of decay products, having a dark color, such as iron sulfide.

Staining of teeth in different shades can also occur as a result of various drugs and filling materials in endodontic treatment.

To prevent staining the processing of the root canal should be thoroughly cleaned cavity. When root canal fillings need to ensure that the cavity of the tooth crowns were remnants of filling material. In a tool with a bare root canal dentin sealing advisable to finish at a point approximately 2 mm below the mouth of the channel, and the remaining space is filled with a protective seal.

To determine the indication for use of bleaching must take into account the coefficient of clinical crowns and the quality of sealing root canals. If the incisors on both sides are large in size adjacent seals, bleach can weaken the tooth to a possible fracture of the crown. In this case, tooth whitening should be preferred prosthesis.

For internal bleaching using peroxide compounds, which due to the evolution of active oxygen causes oxidation of the accumulated colored molecules. For these purposes, most commonly used sodium perborate with 30% hydrogen peroxide solution.

According to recent studies the effectiveness of aqueous solutions of sodium perborate is high enough.

Should waive the 30% solution of hydrogen peroxide as the sole means for bleaching, as well as the low pH of this solution is considered to be the cause of possible damage of dental hard tissues.

The drawback is the occurrence of cervical external resorption of the tooth caused hydrogen oxid permeation through the dentinal tubules.

There are catalytic thermal and cross-cutting (walking-bleach) ways to whiten teeth.
When thermochemical method for accelerating the chemical reaction of bleaching agent is heated in the cavity of the crown of the tooth, trying to reach a satisfactory aesthetic result in one visit. However, because of the danger of external stimulation of resorption of this method are increasingly refuse.

By walking-bleach-way bleaching agent for a few days is placed in the cavity of the crown of the tooth).

Walking-bleach-way includes the following steps:

re-opening of the cavity of the tooth;
removal from the cavity of the crown of the tooth fillings and the remnants of necrotic tissue;
shortening of the seal of the root canal to a point somewhat below the mouth of the root canal;
covering the root canal sealed protective padding;
introduction of bleaching agents; ~ superimposition sealed bandage; ~ 3-4 days after removal of bleaching agents.
In conclusion, the cavity is carefully cleaned and determine the effectiveness of bleaching. When aesthetically unsatisfactory result of this procedure can be repeated.

Thank u for sharing Mikey! I am going to see about geitntg these for myself. As for the gag reflex I totally know what u are going through! I can’t even hold things between my teeh/lips for very long.

I wonder why the dneitst has a weaker version. She said that the stuff the dneitst uses is less concentrated, and has to be kept in overnight. You’d think a dr/dentist would have the higher concentrated stuff, and they sell the lower concentration over the counter. This doesn’t make sense to me, so I wouldn’t bet that it’s the same stuff the dneitst uses. If it was as safe, the dneitst would use the stuff that you only need to use for 5 minutes.

This is very disappointing. So many pepole on youtube gave good reviews about this product so I got the full kit. I tried it two times in the first day, and I see no difference whatsoever. Everyone said they saw a huge difference with just the first try. I didn’t see even a little different. I guess I’ll just keep using it See where that goes. Hope it starts working.

Yep, I agree. I’ve watched 2 of her viedos so far and both have had some flaws in them. While I will watch more of her viedos, because she does have some neat ideas, you can’t believe everything she says, because she isn’t 100% accurate. So people, take her ideas, then research them yourself, before doing it. http://czckcmuje.com pmarmiybe [link=http://vzzwkgkixwv.com]vzzwkgkixwv[/link]

Fluoride-contains paints, solutions and gels
08-09-2009
fluoride-contains paints One of the most common means of local prevention of dental caries are the lacquers, which are used to prolong the period of the impact of fluoride on enamel. They form adjacent to the enamel film which remains on the teeth for several hours, and in fissures and cracks micro spaces – a few days or even weeks.  Lac Duraphat contains 2.26% fluoride, Ruor Protector -0,1%, Composeal – sodium fluoride, calcium fluoride. Ftorlak (Kharkiv) containing 5% NaF and produced on the basis of cedar or fir balsam.
Fluoridated water helps keep your teeth healthy
08-09-2009
For the artificial fluoridation of water soluble salts are added, creating an optimal concentration of fluoride, equal to 1 ppm (1 mg / l). This process is carried out on the waterworks. In localities where they drink lots of water (eg, the tropics), the concentration of fluoride in water should be about 0.7 ppm, and in countries with cold climate – up to 1.2 ppm, while the risk of dental fluorosis is minimal. Fluoride exerts its effects on tooth enamel throughout the life of man. It is shown that to maximize the effectiveness of fluoridated water should be consumed from birth, but some studies have shown the effectiveness of this method of prevention and for patients treated with optimal concentrations of fluoride after tooth formation.
Chewing Gum - 20 minutes after eating for healthy teeth
08-09-2009
Chewing gum – a means of improving oral hygiene at the expense of increasing the amount of saliva and rate of salivation, which helps clean surface of the tooth and the neutralization of organic acids produced by bacteria of plaque. Chewing gum manifests its effects on oral tissues in the following ways: • increases the rate of salivary secretion; • stimulates secretion of saliva with a higher buffer capacity; • helps neutralize plaque acids; • favors rinsing saliva remote areas of oral cavity; • Improves the clearance of sucrose from the saliva; • helps to remove food debris.
Saliva helps to disinfect and whiten teeth
08-09-2009
Oral liquid, or mixed bundles provide a normal functional state of the teeth and oral mucosa. It consists of secretions of the salivary glands, epithelial cells, white blood cells, microorganisms and food debris. In a normal day secreted about 500 ml of saliva, of which about 200 ml – during meals. and the rest – in a state of rest. Saliva plays a protective role in relation to teeth and oral mucosa. The functions of saliva include: • cleansing of the oral cavity of food debris, plaque and bacteria; • neutralization of acids and bases produced by bacterial plaque; • antibacterial and antifungal effects; • dissolution and leaching of sugar from the surrounding tooth sites of oral cavity; • Ensure receipt of inorganic ions necessary for re-mineralization of primary caries damage.
Red wine helps to get rid of gum disease
08-09-2009
Recent studies of Canadian scientists have shown new and useful properties of the usual red wine. From their findings it follows that the polyphenols that are part of the drink, have a beneficial effect in diseases such as gingivitis, gum disease or periodontitis. At a meeting of the American Association for Dental Research, taking place annually in Orlando, a group of scientists led by Fathia Chandad made a report on the benefits of dry red wine on the mouth. Inflammation is the natural reaction of the organism to protect against pathogenic bacteria, but in the course of this reaction generates large quantities of free radicals.
